Though the exact number of snake bites is unknown, an estimated 5.4 million

Last Friday, Eden Prairie traveled to Burnsville for the start of the Burnsville Snake Pit Tournament.

It didn’t go well, as the Burnsville Cobras defeated Eden Prairie 10-4.

“We walked too many batters and fell behind in too many counts,” said Hackett.

On Saturday, Eden Prairie bounced back to defeat East Ridge (11-1) and Hamline Purple (9-0).

“Brandt Thompson got the win against East Ridge,” said Hackett

“Tyson Stritesky against Hamline. Both games were five-inning games.”

On Sunday, Eden Prairie fell 3-2 to Tri City Red.

“Walk-off walk,” said Hackett. “That’s a tough way to lose.”

Shepard and Elliot were playing in the Play Ball! Minnesota All-Star Tournament.
