Last Friday, Eden Prairie traveled to Burnsville for the start of the Burnsville Snake Pit Tournament.
It didn’t go well, as the Burnsville Cobras defeated Eden Prairie 10-4.
“We walked too many batters and fell behind in too many counts,” said Hackett.
On Saturday, Eden Prairie bounced back to defeat East Ridge (11-1) and Hamline Purple (9-0).
“Brandt Thompson got the win against East Ridge,” said Hackett
“Tyson Stritesky against Hamline. Both games were five-inning games.”
On Sunday, Eden Prairie fell 3-2 to Tri City Red.
“Walk-off walk,” said Hackett. “That’s a tough way to lose.”
Shepard and Elliot were playing in the Play Ball! Minnesota All-Star Tournament.
